The internal portal for Georgia Southern University, MyGeorgiaSouthern, was first built in 2007. Originally written in PHP and interfaced with MySQL and Oracle databases, the redesign process started in June 2014 and we created it to interact with the newly built API.GeorgiaSouthern, MySQL, and Oracle. We focused primarily on taking advantage of the Bootstrap responsive framework for mobile-readiness from the start. User feedback and the use of the Scrum methodology played a key role in the development of this portal redesign.

Creation of API to serve data to MyGeorgiaSouthern (Georgia Southern University)
This API is a C# MVC RESTful web service that was created to interact with the different databases used in MyGeorgiaSouthern and across campus. It logs all requests to a MSSQL database and interacts with different third-party APIs, as well as our local Active Directory servers. All requests are returned in JSON or XML, and it is currently being used internally within the department, but the eventual goal is to open it up to campus.

Package Tracking Website (Freelance)
The package tracking website was built alongside a department at National Print Group (Now RockTenn Retail Solutions). It allows the company to upload a CSV exported from their system into a database that would then track the package every couple of hours using the UPS API to check for updates. The users can request shipment updates, see in detail where a package as been, and any other data that is returned by the UPS API that they wanted.
